It was a beautiful morning for a walk along Sunset Cliffs. Aside from a little smog along the horizon, it was perfectly clear, the ocean was perfectly calm & the temperature was perfect!
In the very center of the photo above, you can see a round rock formation that’s usually not quite as visible due to waves crashing on the rocks. There are 3 of these rock formations here, but this one is the biggest. The boat you see is a lobster boat checking traps. The water was so calm, the boats were able to get really close to shore.
In the previous 2 photos, OB Pier and La Jolla in the background. Past that, the LA coastline & with a better camera (& the naked eye) Mt. baldy can be seen in the far distance (not caught on this iPhone).
